This capsule collection utilises archival artworks, botanical illustrations, photography, and contemporary digital techniques to create an elegant celebration of nature, viewed through a distinctly Liberty lens.
Liberty roll widths are larger compared with regular quilting cottons. One Liberty fat quarter (1/4m unit) measures 68cm x 50cm / 26" x 19".
Serruria originates from the 1950s featuring an array of meadow blossoms including roses, bluebells, mimosa, clover and star-flowers, while its fine outlines and all-over layout are reminiscent of Liberty’s quintessential 1930s prints. Shown here in a pink, blue and brown on a cream background.
