This capsule collection utilises archival artworks, botanical illustrations, photography, and contemporary digital techniques to create an elegant celebration of nature, viewed through a distinctly Liberty lens.
Liberty roll widths are larger compared with regular quilting cottons. One Liberty fat quarter (1/4m unit) measures 68cm x 50cm / 26" x 19".
Originally hand-painted in the early 1990s, Iveta’s Garden was inspired by the delicate linework typically found in 1920s Liberty pattern books. This romantic print features trailing flowers of hibiscus, fuchsia, primrose and sweet pea. Look closely to distinguish tiny camouflaged birds gracefully nestled among the blossoming branches.
