Liberty roll widths are larger compared with regular quilting cottons. One Liberty poplin fat quarter (1/4m unit) measures 72cm x 50cm / 28" x 19".
Elsa Gabriele was discovered in an archive book from the 1920s, the frilly petals in Elsa Gabriele emulate the embroideries that once adorned silk capes crafted by Liberty’s costume department during the early 1900s. Shown here in soft pastel shades of pink, blue and orange on a white background.
