Liberty Fabrics' Classics Collection features themost well-known and iconic designs from the Liberty archive all year around. The collection offers reworked and recoloured interpretations of the most quintessential Liberty heritage designs. Liberty roll widths are larger compared with regular quilting cottons. One Liberty fat quarter (1/4m unit) measures 68cm x 50cm / 26" x 19".
Thorpe is named after the artist John Hall Thorpe, whose early-1900s paintings inspired its dense floral layout. Drawn and coloured in 1968, its flourishing design evokes the classic style of ‘30s Liberty florals. Shown here with autumnal flowers on a black background.
