How does it work?
Once you sign-up below (please add to cart below, you will be charged £1 today to signup), from January 2024 you will receive a special box every month to include fabric, paper piecing templates and instructions to make your own Colin Tilney's Wallhanging quilt.
The payment date is the 15th of each month. Kits aim to be dispatched 4 working days after this date. Depending on calendar dates, the dispatch date will be around the 19th of every month.

Quilt Information
The original pattern was designed and pieced by Lucy Boston between 1976-1977. She was famed for her children's book series Green Knowe. In her spare time she created many beautiful patchworks, pieced over papers in the traditional manner. Since her passing in 1990 these patchworks have become legends in their own right.
Quilt Size
The finished quilt top will measure approximately 58-1/2" x 74-1/2".
We have adapted the original quilt for our signature BOM Club by Jessie to feature a 3 x 4 block layout.
If we have enough interest we will offer a one-off add-on kit to enable you to make the quilt larger, which will make the quilt into a 4 x 4 block layout.
Fabric used in the Patchwork Of the Crosses BOM club
Each month's kit is carefully chosen and curated by Jessie. To keep things authentic we will be using a variety of Liberty Tana Lawns just as Lucy Boston used for her original POTC quilt, alongside other beautiful quilting cottons to enhance the overall look, which we conveniently pre-cut into strips ready for you to sub-cut as per our instructions.
We will be using a Liberty Lawn for the squares to act as the sashing between the main coloured blocks and a tonal brown print from the Dutch Heritage Pindot collection.
Acrylic Template Set
We offer a matching set of shapes we use in the quilt made of acrylic, these have a 3/8" seam allowance added which allows you to accurately cut your fabrics either by drawing around and cutting out with scissors or a rotary cutter. These also aid in any fussy-cutting elements. These are not necessary to complete the club, as we also provide sub-cutting instructions for every fabric sent to you in each kit, however they are popular with our customers.
