Delivery & Returns

When can I expect my order?

Most of our orders are shipped the same day or within 48 hours of purchase from our workshop here in Cornwall, pending availability. Once your order is dispatched, we will send you an email to let you know your package is on its way! We estimate you will receive your order in the UK within 1-3 business days of its ship date. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday will be shipped the next business day. Shipping times may vary at peak times, but rest assured we work our hardest to get you your order as quickly as possible.

What shipping service do you use?

Most UK orders will be posted 1st Class Royal Mail. Heavy or larger items will be sent with UKMail courier service.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes! We are happy to ship anywhere in the world and ship using your choice of either standard Airmail service or International Tracked & Signed (or country equivalent service).

 I haven’t received my package yet?

If you think your order might be lost in the post, don’t worry. The majority of late packages are usually being held at a local sorting office. We would suggest visiting there as your first port of call. Royal Mail does not consider a parcel lost unless it has been missing 15 days in the UK, 20 days in Europe or 25 days in the rest of the world. Please note Saturdays, Sundays and all bank holidays are classed as non-working days, please bare this in mind when waiting for your order to arrive. If you believe your parcel has been lost, please email us at info@sewandquilt.co.uk once this timeframe has ceased. Please make sure your shipping address is correct. Orders that are returned because of an invalid address will be re-posted at your expense. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Any additional shipping costs are nonrefundable. Please note, we do not ship on the weekend or bank holidays.

Can I return/exchange an item?

In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your purchase unused products may be returned within 7 days of reciept for a full refund. Once we receive the returned item(s) the charges will be credited to you (excluding postage costs). Used, opened, and/or final sale items cannot be returned. Fabric cannot be returned, as it is cut to order. Address returns to Sew and Quilt, Trinity Yard, Quay Street, Penzance, Cornwall, TR18 4BN. Please ensure all items are sent in protective packaging which will reach us in a re-sellable condition.
